ABOUT ME I am a motivated and dedicated researcher with a strong passion for chemistry. I completed my Ph.D. in Chemistry from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, where my thesis focused on the Synthetic Approaches for Pharmacologically important Oxygen and Nitrogen containing Heterocyclic Compounds. Currently, I work as an Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Kanpur, India. Prior to joining IIT Kanpur, I worked as a Research Associate at UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai, focusing on the synthesis of magnetic nanocatalysts and organo-nanocatalysts for synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. I also worked on the development of organo-selenium compounds as antioxidants, and also studied biological and photophysical properties of the synthesized heterocyclic compounds. Throughout my academic and research career, I have demonstrated a strong passion and commitment to the field of chemistry, publishing several articles in leading journals.
